I’m just obsessed with New Year’s Eve weddings. I find them so much fun & super enchanting. And how symbolic is that a couple’s new beginning also coincides with the beginning of a New Year? I just love it!
Hilary & Ron’s New Year’s Eve wedding captured by Logan Walker Photography at Stein Eriksen Lodge, Utah, is truly a rustic winter wonderland – New Year’s Eve bash- that glistens like falling snow on the side of a snow dusted mountain.
The ceremony took place on the Flagstaff Deck, and with help with a snowy backdrop, it was transformed into a winter wonderland with a silvery aisle runner outlined by rows of silver lanterns & flickering votives.
A hot chocolate bar with mint Toddy’s was available for guests as a warm up before the ceremony.
From the bride: Our wedding had the same look and feel as our Manhattan apartment. It was a perfect blend of our two styles rustic with modern elegance. We wanted a rustic winter wonderland that still felt like a new year’s party. Lots of candles and earth tones and silver accents. The room at the Stein Eriksen is so beautiful we wanted to accent it while not taking away from it. We used pinecones, candles, and birch to do this. The moment I knew we were doing a winter wedding I knew I wanted birch and candles. There is nothing more romantic to us…
The theme throughout our wedding was antlers and pinecones. The invitations, table card holders, menus, ceremony programs, signage, aisle runner, cupcakes, and table number holders all had antlers or a the antler surrounding the M we had developed for our wedding. Neither one of us are hunters, but we truly fell in love with the elegance in which a antler can be represented. Pinecones and birch were a beautiful accent for us to bring in the rustic.
