Thinking about getting married around Christmas, but not really wanting a Christmas themed wedding? Well, do I have some inspiration for you by Andie Freeman Photography, and it’s absolutely beautiful!
Erin and Ricky met while attending college at UGA in Athens, Georgia and were both in graduate school at the time of their wedding, so to save on cost and have time available for a honeymoon they held their wedding the Sunday before Christmas. Even though their wedding was so close Christmas, they just weren’t keen on having a Christmas themed wedding, and instead wanted something unique that showcased their personalities. So a chic vintage themed wedding it was! With help from their event planner, Jessie Patton with Southern Sophistication Designs, their wedding at The Engine Room in Monroe, Georgia was transformed back in time with baby’s breath, paper chains, sheet music & vintage wares.
Some words from Andie Freeman of Andie Freeman Photography:
These guys were the perfect wedding couple! I have been blessed to have a lot of those. They were comfortable in front of the camera. They weren’t afraid to cry and then wipe away their tears (I love those shots!) and they really showed me their personalities and their love for each other. The venue was amazing. It poured the rain the entire day. Not only did Erin not freak out about it, but we embraced the rain and incorporated it into their photographs. With all of the large windows, we were able to have enough natural light to utilize the space. And there was a rockin reception! Sunday weddings tend to be a little on the slower side, but this one was a party!
