When event planner Jackie Martucci, from Events by Jackie M, took a trip with one of her favorite florist’s, Stacey from The Tangled Grapevine, they found more than wine, cheese, and scenic views – they found the perfect spot for a Tuscan – inspired styled wedding shoot.
Under the draping branches of a tree on the edge of Massachusetts Hardwick Winery and Vineyard, the team set up an intimate rustic table, draped it in eucalyptus, and centered it with a stunning floral centerpiece. Berry hues were strewn across the tablescape in the form of deep purples and rich reds, and some perfectly placed berries. While an antique chandelier draped in greenery hung above the beautifully adorned table. As an ode to the Tuscan theme, and for a delectable twist on the traditional wedding cake, a berry topped cheese cake served with Italian bread was assembled with blueberry wine. Brooke Ellen Photography captured all the beautiful inspiration seen below.
From Jackie Martucci from Events by Jackie M:
Bridal Heirlooms generously provided us with a lovely Maggie Sottero gown. The sweet lace overlay and cap sleeves perfectly complimented the scene. A blush bodice gave a subtle nod to our color inspiration, while pairing like a dream with Stacey’s ravishing bouquet design….
Kelly Hart of That Girl provided us with flawless hair and makeup. A natural look was enhanced with a bold lip and a sweet berry accented head piece.
A Tuscan scene initially came to mind simply because of the stunning panoramic view. This vineyard is nestled into such a quiet area, it’s quite easy to imagine that you are in a different country! A gorgeous antiqued chandelier would be strung up from our favorite tree, draped with abundant greenery. A rustic farm table would serve as the dinner space. Here, our newlyweds would clink glasses of perfectly tart cranberry wine straight from the winery….
On the table, I mixed and matched settings to add depth. The chargers were a combination of muted wood and deep red. My purple goblets made an appearance, alternating with iridescent red stemware. Hobnail glassware added another layer to the table, along with classic silver flatware. Dark bronze candlesticks flanked each end of our brilliant floral centerpiece, set with romantic tapered candles….
Wooden cross back chairs with ivory cushions allowed us to harmonize our darker accent colors with some natural lightness, as did simple antique white dinnerware. Linen napkins in beige were simply set in a collection of antiqued silver napkin rings. Smaller accents included Gothic purple votive holders and cranberry bud vases adorning the table. The silver pedestal bowl was filled with luscious grapes and bright apples from a nearby orchard. Fresh cranberries provided the base for black pillar candles…
Of course, no vineyard shoot would be complete without the addition of a delectable cheese tower! Black lace was draped atop a small wooden pedestal table set amid the grapevines. Smith’s Country Cheese provided us with some larger wheels of cheese- one a heavenly aged Gouda, the other a Sundried Tomato and Basil Gouda delight. To create the top, I added on some smaller wheels of brie and smoked Gouda. All of this was accented with more greenery and local berries. Paired with some torn Italian bread and Blueberry Wine, this table would be hard for any cheese lover to resist!
