Hello all, today I have a beautiful wedding sent my way by Cariad Photography. Summer & Patrick celebrated their wedding day at the stunning Chota Falls in Clayton, Georgia. I just love all the lovely shades of blue, especially the blue orchids used throughout the wedding.
From The Photographer: Shooting a wedding at Chota Falls one of North Georgia’s beautiful wedding venues is always a joy specially if you are photographing a lovely couple as Summer and Patrick. Chota Falls and it’s 150 acres is surrounded by creeks, waterfalls, a lake and a lovely private vineyard. Most couples get married beneath the waterfall, but Chota Falls also has a very romantic European type Chapel in case the weather is not to the couples wishes. My clients chose to get married beneath the waterfall last May and it was a perfect ceremony. Summer loves turquoise so it was to be seen everywhere. The dressing room in the Chapel is one of the prettiest I have ever seen and the honeymoon penthouse suite is to die for…………it overlooks the waterfall and has a pretty patio with a fire place to snuggle up in front of. The actual venue has cathedral ceilings and the windows reach to the ceiling and leave everybody breathless with the view of the mountains and the Chapel.

April 11, 2013 at 12:45 amCongrats! This couple used a local florist, Henry Luther Florist, but these centerpieces can be pretty simple to put together. You can get most of the supplies from Micheals, Save-on-crafts.com or any craft supplier. You just need a small mirror base, a vase, branches such as willow or birch, blue water pearls, crystal garland or hanging crystals. You can also substitute the blue water pearls for vase gems then add blue food coloring to the water. String or hang the crystals on the branches and place fresh blue orchids in the vase surrounding the branches then secure more orchids to the branches themselves. Feel free to print the picture of the centerpiece and take to your floral designer if this is not a DIY project. If you are wanting to go smaller maybe use short square vases filled with blue orchids and small branches.
