Gosh, how wonderful would it be to be married on Valentine’s, the most romantic day of the year, I couldn’t think of any better time, can you? What’s even better, Valentine’s Day is on Saturday this year, so that means lots of happy couples taking advantage of a rare opportunity and saying their I Do’s. So, in celebration, I’m dedicating the rest of the week to all things pink & red and Valentine’s inspired, and I’m kicking of the week with a super dreamy, rustic, shabby-chic Valentine’s Day wedding styled shoot from the talented Andie Freeman, of Andie Freeman Photography. She has really been killing it with styled shoots lately and this one happens to be one of my favorites. Soft pastels in shades of blush & peach accented with gold + Pantone’s 2015 color of the year, Marsala – I’m one smitten gal.
Take a peek, and don’t forget to check back tomorrow for a whimsical Wisconsin forest wedding in shades of pink and coral, fun DIY details and sweet little flower girls adorned with fairy wings!
Some Details From Andy Freeman:
The invitations are FREE printables from Wedding Chicks!! Not a bad idea if you are penny pinching. And those hearts all around the invites make great confetti for decor or for your exit. And they are just DIY! You grab a couple of heart punches from Hobby Lobby (when they are on sale of course) and then use a few pieces of paper crafting paper to create them. Although, I do have to warn you that your hand my get exhausted if you are going to make a bunch of them!!
The bridal gown was a stunning gown from the White by Vera Wang collection offered by David’s Bridal and our groom wore a pale grey slim fit shoot with a blush and white seersucker bowtie.
Because it’s cold outside (it is February after all), our bride topped off her stunning designer gown with a vintage blonde mink coat. She had a stunning messy updo bun and finished off the look with a Marsala ribbon around her hair. Bombshell Creations provided flawless makeup. Her jewelry consisted of pink rubies and diamonds designed by custom jeweler TK Anderson.
We used several new 2015 trends that we love including a champagne tower and passing the food around the table family style!! I love family style! It is such a wonderful way to share a meal with your closest family and friends.
