Today I have a lovely rustic wedding to share with you all. Jenny & Adam’s wedding took place in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on a beautiful fall day. Their wedding was intimate and lovely, I just love the church they were married in – so rustic and charming.
Thanks goes to Eye Wander Photo for sharing Jenny & Adam’s wedding with us today.
From the Photographer (Which is also the Grooms brother!): This November 20th rustic, fall themed wedding was quaint and memorable. My favorite shots are when the pastor asked the groom’s kids to get up and he dedicated a portion of the service to marrying the family together. The kids are precious and were fun to photograph. The church was small and old only holding up forty people. The bouquet was hand made by the bride. Everything about this wedding was well thought out. The couple is vegan, so all the food was vegan. Even the cake. The party favors were seeds that we were to plant in our garden when we got home.
From the Bride and Groom, Jenny & Adam:
How Did You Meet:
We knew each other for years but reunited at a vegan festival after losing contact.
Marriage was a mutual decision that didn’t involve a traditional proposal.
What was your wedding planning, inspiration and style?
We both agreed a smaller wedding fit our style. Jennifer focused more on the small details rather than a lavish production. Most things were purchased from Etsy. Tarnished silver, rustic, vintage, simple autumn style.
What was your favorite memory of the day?
Jennifer’s fondest memories are the times we would catch each other’s eyes while visiting with others after the ceremony. Our personalized vows were very special to me.
