Wanting to do something a little different for her first styled shoot than a traditional wedding, Raelene Schulmeister Photography paired up with Today’s Sweet Weddings, to create a rustic country romance that told the story of sweet, intimate, elopement. The vision: a bride & groom strolling through a picture-perfect Alberta pasture, sharing special moments along the way, ending the day with wine and an intimate dinner for two.
From the Photographer: We shot in a pasture in Alberta while a thunder storm boomed in the distance. The decor was beautiful. My stylist made almost every element of the decor with her daughters. The silk flowers were hand dyed the day before the shoot. Pages from old romance novels were shaped into paper flowers. We assembled the wheat bouquet with wheat from a nearby farmer’s field. The distressed furniture table and ladder were hand finished for this shoot.
The clothing is a mixture of items from H&M and the personal designs of Eva Borek, a stylist with Today’s Sweet Weddings here in Alberta.
