If you are planning a winter wedding and want it to have an ambience of rustic Christmas coziness, than I have the perfect winter wedding inspiration to share with you today that ties in the magic of festive Christmas trimmings with the rustic coziness of winter. Shanda Lynn Call Photography, along with a talented team of vendors, created an awe-inspiring country winter styled wedding accented in red, gold & plaid, gold dipped pine cones & paper trees, an amazing naked cake topped with sugared cranberries + a miniature reindeer, and a beverage bar stocked with fragrant wassail, hot chocolate & chamomile tea, with lots of yummy treats.
From the Photographer: Snowy pines, Rocky Mountains and a splash of bright plaid give a personal country winter touch, while deep red Carnations, Heathers, Pepper Berries, & White Spray Roses added a classic elegance to this styled wedding.
Winter decorations consisted of gold and plaid, glistening gold dipped pinecones, candles, evergreen boughs, and cranberries.
The gorgeous 4-layer ginger cake, adorned with bright candied cranberries reflected perfectly the blending of country warmth and personalized elegance.
Flavors of wassail, rich hot chocolate, and chamomile tea at the hot chocolate bar provided a cozy retreat from the crisp winter air. Among the refreshments; homemade ginger, Oreo, & sugar cookies made by the talented Bon Chance wedding and event planning, were a perfect compliment to the warm drinks.
This gorgeous Country wedding style can be used all throughout the winter, it has enough diversity to last throughout the season. You can change up the sign in table to match the month, instead of customized tree ornaments for Christmas time, you could have your guests sign decor that fits the month.
Custom artwork was created by the amazing Designer, Alycia Mark, who provided one-of-a-kind paintings, sketches and invitations. These personalized touches set a wedding apart; allowing the couple to have something that is uniquely theirs.
The Bride’s combination of a traditional wedding gown with a bold plaid top reflect a love of tradition with a balance of individuality. The bride’s hair, with touches of flowers and berries was a delicate touch of modern country done to perfection by Syna Harris, and tied in nicely with the style of the wedding.
