Oh my goodness there is so much to love about today’s featured wedding perfectly captured by Caroline Ross of Caroline Ross Photography! Let’s start with the wedding palette – pink, coral, and mint. This delightful trio of colors look so dreamy together, and the bridesmaids light mint green gowns from Unique Vintage are simply divine. Next let’s talk about the wedding venue itself and its beautiful backdrop.
Newlyweds Megan & Phil had a backyard wedding at Phil’s parent’s house which is located along the French River in Northern Ontario. I will not lie, I have never been close to the French River, but after looking at the all lovely scenic pictures taking at Megan & Phil’s wedding by Caroline it may just be on my next destination list.
This lovely backyard wedding also has so many DIY details that I just adore, including a colorful dessert table, and love that’s simply undeniable.
From the Bride, Megan:
How did you meet?
Phil and I met at a local bar through mutual friends.
What were your Wedding Planning Inspiration and Style?
I was inspired by a retro pastel color scheme, vintage thrift store finds and the beautiful French River where both the ceremony and reception was held.
What are some of your favorite memories of the day?
Some of my favorite memories of the day are traveling to our photo location, which included an interesting trek through a large field. Also, seeing our day come together more beautifully than Phil and I could have imagined it, and all of my family and friends sharing it with us is!
Do You have any advice for other brides?
If it’s possible to get your photos done before the ceremony- do it! You will appreciate having more time to spend chatting with your guests and enjoying cocktail hour and the other details you put so much time into planning.
