They say “it’s all in the details”, and as a photographer and creative, Melodee Lynn Photography knows just how important the little details are when it comes to creating that “wow” factor, when planning and decorating an important event. With that in mind, and with the help from Ashley Haxby Photography, Melodee coordinated a day of pastel romance at the Royal Palms Resort and Spa in Phoenix, Arizona, chock-full of swoon-worthy.. little details.
From Melodee Lynn Photography: As a photographer and creative, I know how important details are. Whether you’re decorating a home or planning a wedding or party, it’s the little details that pull everything together to give it a real “wow” factor. It’s what you end up spending most of your time and money on so it’s something I like to make sure and showcase well.
Peach accents were everywhere, in the subtle ombre wedding gown, the show-stopping cake and even the DIY hand-dyed fabrics were dyed to the perfect shade to match everything else.
Though I had so many favorites from the day, the custom calligraphy sign and floral arrangement on top of a DIY easel was probably my favorite. It was a stunning welcoming piece that had everyone “ooing and ahhing”. It set the tone for what the whole event was about.
The 16-foot garland adorned with tulips, hydrangeas and roses was a breathtaking stunner that completed this whole look.
The s’mores bar was a highlight for sure. The homemade marshmallows dissolved in your mouth and was a fun and festive way to showcase even more details.
