I’m super excited to share Allison & Zak‘s botanical inspired farm wedding with you today! Seriously, All My Love Photography couldn’t have captured their day more perfectly… every amazing detail, by every amazing detail. What’s even better is that the bride & groom, Allison & Zak, are the owners of today’s picturesque countryside venue, and they left no stone unturned transforming their venue into a fairytale experience filled with shades of lavender, pretty florals, magnificent lighting, and vintage and farmhouse finds.
From All My Love Photography: Zak and Ali have the type of personalities that light up a room. Anyone who spends 5 minutes with them can tell they are best friends and madly in love! The couple bought Broookmill Farm in early 2015 and converted it into a beautiful county wedding venue. Brookmill Farm is the wedding venue of every couple’s dreams. Down an old stonewall lined private drive is a beautiful colonial farmhouse, a covered bridge, and stream surrounded by woods and fields.
The flowers and decor at Zak and Ali’s’ wedding were done by Faye and Renee, a super talented floral duo. They transformed Brookmill Farm into a beautiful glowing purple wonderland. They chose an elegant assortment of purple flowers and greenery.
The wooden farm tables were decorated with mismatched china, a beautiful assortment of flowers, candles, and vintage floral illustrated place cards.
One of the most charming parts about Brookmill Farm is the outdoor space. Zak and Ali said their vows and exchanged rings along a graceful flowing stream. Zak hand built a beautiful birch wood chuppah for them to get married under, which Faye and Renee so beautifully adorned with flowers. Zak and Ali had a tradition Jewish ceremony. There wasn’t a dry eye in the audience as the two forever pledged their love to each other in front of family and friends.
From the ceremony site it is just a short walk over the covered bridge to the cocktail and reception areas located next to the properties original stone mill house. Here you will find a handmade wooden bar and some gorgeous vintage couches to relax on, all beneath luminous strings of lights.
We got the opportunity to take some beautiful photos of Zak and Ali around the property. Our favorite part was climbing the hill behind the farmhouse with Ali in her Dolce and Gabbana heels to take some beautiful golden hour shots. Ali was such a trooper and Zak even carried her part of the way like a perfect gentlemen.
