I love rustic weddings they often contain elements of nature and inspire a laid back atmosphere. Another thing I like about rustic wedding is they often transpire from DIY projects, to me this just makes the event more interesting. Halley & Dusty’s rustic orange and green wedding was full of many cute elements. Old wooden pews were used for ceremony seating. Mason jars filled with orange glass gems, and flowers, hung on the end of each pew by a string of twine. While orange pillows with a patterned fabric tied bow were placed at each end of the pews.
Rugged tree slices were used under mason jar centerpieces and as a cake stand.

From Chelsea Nicole Photography: What can I say about this DIY wedding! It was absolutely gorgeous! The bright orange and green scattered throughout the venue really made this summer wedding burst with color. We were a little worried at first because of the down pour just 15 minutes prior to walking down the isle. But the clouds cleared and it was all blue skies for the entire ceremony. I loved the bride’s dress and the boots really gave the wedding that rustic edge. Guests were greeted with a warm smile and cold cup of lemonade and then escorted through the gardens to their pew. The cake was super adorable with its chocolate swirls and orange polka-dots. Who doesn’t like polka-dots?!? The party ended with quests dancing well into the night. This was truly a wedding to remember.
