Shades of copper and cherry with pops of rich purple, mixed in with hues of champagne and blush pink – I’m just obsessed with today’s moody, romantic, fall wedding palette and I think you’ll love it too. Read a little bit about the inspiration for today’s styled shoot from the photographer, Dalton Smiley, of Dalton Smiley Photography. He’s a senior in high school (yes a senior) that has an obvious talent for photography – as you will see below – with a bright future ahead of him.
The inspiration of this shoot came from gorgeous moody fall tones not normally associated with everyday ceremonies. The copper Cymbidium Orchid combined with dark cherry tones against the brides tulle oatmeal Watters gown really set the mood for a dramatic take on classic farmhouse elegance. The simplistic chapel wedding with leafy backdrop was the perfect setting for the stunning bouquet and matching hair florals incorporated in the bride’s whimsical side braid. Our groom was handsome in navy, pairing perfectly with Sainte Terre’s scenic courtyard. The final inspiration of the shoot was the intimate candlelit dinner for two set out on the terrace.
