When Aldea Weddings proposed the idea of hosting a styled shoot to celebrate their “Re-launch” of their newly renovated wedding destination, The Landmark in Mesa, AZ, Ivonne Carlton Photography was beyond delighted. The Landmark has a rich historical history and has a strong presence in the community that has withstood the test of time. During renovation Aldea Weddings held on to the history & historical charm while adding a modern/contemporary feel, mixing old and new, while conveying an air of vintage glamour. It’s this eclectic mixture that inspired a styled shoot steeped in, “traditional décor with a modern accessorized twist”.
Things to note: A palette of burgundy & gold inspired by Pantone’s 2015 color of the year Marsala – a stunning, sweeping, beautifully embellished, Hayley Paige “Dori” gown – and a trove of lush florals, two swoon-worthy cakes, & whimsical calligraphy watercolor stationary.
