Kaci & Cameron are set to be wed this October at The Oaks of Lake City, a prosperous equestrian community nestled in the country side of northern Florida. Holly Frazier Photography joined up with this adorable couple at The Oaks, to snap a super cute country style engagement shoot.
From the Photographer: We had an old Chevy truck and some Coca-Cola, spent some time under the oak trees, and even visited with a couple of horses. I had a great evening documenting the love between these two!
From the bride-to-be, Kaci:
How did you meet?
We met in High School. He was a senior and I was a junior. I had seen him in the hallway a couple times and we had the same lunch.. I would always want to go up and talk to him but I never had enough guts to. Plus I had a boyfriend at the time .. A couple months later I had Tigerette (dance) practice in the gym in the mornings and he had gym class at the same time. I asked all of my friends on the team if they knew him and come to find out he was one of the girls’ cousin!! After telling her how hot I thought he was she said that after class we should walk to her car and she would introduce us. So of course I couldn’t pass up that offer. Fast forward to a couple months later ok maybe weeks.. lol I broke up with my boyfriend and we started dating.
How did he propose?
We closed on our first home that day so we went out to dinner that night to celebrate! After dinner we went to Home Depot to look at some things for the house then we went to grab some ice cream. When we got home we started to watch a movie that we had rented earlier that day but I was so tired that I was just ready to go to bed. So we went to go to bed and he turned out the lights well on my ceiling was a bunch of little stars (the glow in the dark ones) that spelled out WILL YOU MARRY ME? He got up to turn on the light and got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. Of course I said YES!!
Tell us a little bit about your wedding plans:

The style of our wedding is “Southern Charm” my bridesmaids will be wearing navy blue lace dresses in their own style that they have chose with cowboy boots. They will be holding sunflowers. There will be lots of bling but it will still be country! Everyone will be drinking out of mason jars that they can take home!!
