A carnival themed wedding at an actual carnival? Sign me up please! Today’s wedding is just bursting with fun and whimsy- it took over two years to plan, but it was worth it, because the end results are amazing! Taking place on the last day of the Arizona State Fair, last November, was Rhonda & Dereck’s fun retro-styled wedding. With a crowd of onlookers Rhonda & Dereck said their vows on the historic Wallace and Ladmo stage where they had a unity ceremony mixing M&M’s into a gumball machine, and a pinky swear that they will always be true. The bridesmaids dressed the part with red retro-inspired dresses, 1940’s pinned up rolled hair, and carried unique cotton candy bouquets made up of spun pink fur. Rhonda carried a handmade broach bouquet made up of red, teal & white broaches. Rhonda & Dereck’s reception was just as fun and colorful with mini carousals on each table, colorful bunting, small carnival- inspired trinkets and a wedding cake with a bunting design and carousal topper – plus, games, music, dancing, food and rides – how fun!
Thanks a bunch, Laura Segall Photography, for sending this gem my way!
