I have another stunner of a submission from Robert J Hill Photography on showcase today. Last week was a patriotic engagement shoot that was absolutely dreamy, this week it’s a rustic, fall wedding filled with colorful wildflowers, in an array of autumn inspired colors. And you know were there’s a wedding there’s a bride and groom; sweeties Autumn & Matt were married this past October at Eden Gardens in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida and it was a beaut.
From the Bride, Autumn:
How did you meet?
Me and Matt have known each other for about 10 years, but because he is 5 years older than me it was never a thing until about 4 years ago. We met through church at Niceville assembly. We both became interns at the church in 2012 and had mutual friends so we became best friends and would stay up talking until like 4 am all the time. It built from there. We started officially dating July 4th of 2012, he proposed March 28, 2013 and we said I do October 13,2013. We were best friends that took way to long to figure out we were made for each other 🙂
What were your Wedding Planning, Inspiration and Style?
My style was rustic, country, and whatever I wanted lol. My inspiration was one thing. Wild flowers.
What are some of your favorite memories of the day?
My favorite memory from the day is walking down the aisle in front of all those people and not caring about anyone but the most handsome man ever crying, because I Autumn Francis was about to be his wife! It was such a beautiful moment. I also loved our first look pictures because I was so nervous to see him and when I did I just couldn’t believe it was really our wedding day.
Do You have any advice for other brides?
I have 2 pieces of advice very simple. Make a list, and keep making it. I looked at my list every month and then every week and when it got closer every day. Adding things and checking things off are huge. And make your own list. The ones online are basic and don’t apply to every bride, with that be some what organized people like to work with sanity not chaos. My 2nd piece of advice is get just a few people to help you. The smaller the group that knows what you want the less headache it is to accomplish your dream. With that, get a good decorator amd be in contact with her or him often. I did these things and people told me I had the best wedding, beat organizing skills and such they had ever seen dealing with a bride. They told me I should plan huge party’s!
