I fell in love with the dusty blue and burgundy wedding color combination a few years back when I seen it used in an inspiration board. It’s a color combination that’s not often used, but I tell you, when it is implemented it displays fantastic pops of color. That’s why I was thrilled to receive the following wedding inspiration from Kate Olson Photo. She and her team put together a dusty blue, burgundy and blush, modern vintage, styled wedding. How wonderful to see these colors put into play! Plus I’m crushing on the addition of blush to the dusty blue and burgundy – Pantone’s color of the year (2016) with a little spice.
From the Photographer, Kate Olson Photo: “The vintage look is well suited and timeless. The dusty blue color is used throughout to create a soft romantic feel. The feeling of this style is effortless beauty. Nothing is over the top and it is simple yet elegant…
Zermatt Resort in Midway was chosen as a location due to its beautiful outdoor scenery and vintage European look…
The birdcage with florals, by Fleur and Stems, provides an interesting and elegant focal point for the table…
To add to the vintage look, real European china and teapots were used…
The wedding dress, by Rachel Elizabeth Bridal, is simple yet very elegant with lace detail on the bodice. The most interesting part of the shoot is that the decor designer, Timber Manning, also was the model in the shoot…
Macaroons add a fun pop of color and elegance to any wedding and you can get them in any color…
The dusty blue cake, by Cake Appeal, adds a lot of visual interest. Wedding cakes can be any color and there are no rules on what direction they take…

Hi I’m Timber with Hoopes Events. I designed the shoot. This is a style shoot so there was no groom or groomsmen. In my opinion a light gray suit would go best for this color combo
For the dusty blue, burgundy, blush wedding posted here, do you have any other pictures of the wedding? Just curious to know what color the bridemaids were in and what color the guys suits were 🙂 :)!!
