There are spring pastels, the vibrant colors of summer & rich fall-inspired colors of fall –but what about dark & moody? Seriously I love a dark & moody palette especially in a fall wedding. It’s elegant & dramatic and sooo unique. A bride can forgo the white wedding gown and grace herself with a gorgeous black gown and paint her lips in a velvety red lipstick. To me, a crumbling chapel would make the perfect backdrop for such a note-worthy affair, and scads on scads of candles add that extra dramatic ambience to the scene. And when you add in a palette of black & gold with accents of rich reds, plums & a smidge of green you can’t go wrong.
