Over the years I have posted a variety of New Year’s Eve wedding palettes that bordered on traditional: midnight blue, silver and gold, black & gold, and a glittery gold, red & grey. But this year I’m posting a, non-traditional, colorful palette with a bit of holiday cheer. I don’t know about you, but I don’t take down my Christmas decorations till after the New Year, so I thought it would be only fitting to include Christmas décor into the festivities, and a colorful tablescape of Christmas tree ornaments in shades of teal, magenta, plum, mint and blush, set on a bed of greenery ,fits the bill.
Blush pink and gold set a feminine tone and make wonderful accents for glassware, bridal wear & accessories, and décor. Mini champagne bottles covered in colorful sprinkles add that extra touch of whimsy, and wishes for the New Year clipped to gold ribbon make for an interesting conversation piece and can be easily converted to a “Well Wishes” modern guest book for the newlyweds. And of course it wouldn’t be a New Year’s Eve soirée without sparkle, and lots of sparkle there will be – sparkle, color and glam & a memorable good time.
Happy New Year!
