Good day lovelies! I’m just popping in to share some pretty on this fine and lovely Labor Day weekend. Christina & William’s chic yellow and grey wedding took place this past March and was photographed by Anna Marisol Photography.
From the Photographer: William and Christina had an incredible wedding day. They were married at William’s parents’ house in Scottsdale, AZ. It was amazing to see how his childhood home was transformed from a home to an impressive wedding venue. The ceremony was extra special as the Groom’s father also doubled as the Officiant. Their wedding planner was a family friend, Stacey Alfier. Christina was full of laughter the whole day, the happiness gleamed from her. I was so happy to have been there to capture their amazing day!
Have an awesome holiday weekend!
From the Bride, Christina:
How did you meet?
My husband and I meet in nursing school and graduated together.
What were your Wedding Planning, Inspiration and Style?
We really wanted a fun laid back family oriented wedding. I loved country style weddings so we decided on a backyard home wedding in his parents beautiful home in North Scottsdale. We wanted it to be causal but still put together enough to feel like a wedding. I love yellow and decided on yellow and gray for our wedding colors, which worked well for my flower selection because I love daisies.
What are some of your favorite memories of the day?
The wedding ceremony, my husbands father is a pastor and it was very special and meaning- full for both of us to have him marry us. Also, all the beautiful toasts our friends and family made and of course the father daughter dance.
Do You have any advice for other brides?
Try and not worry about all the details, because when the day comes everything just comes together, I don’t know how but it just does. I would also say to let someone help you plan if possible. I did a lot of the planning pre-wedding so it was hard for me to let go and let my wedding planner take charge, but she did such a fantastic amazing job, she made it more beautiful than I could of ever imagined and did so much for the wedding that I didn’t even think to do.
