There’s something so magical, so beautiful, about beach weddings. I don’t know if it’s the ocean air, the tropical breeze, or the turquoise waters of a crystal blue sea. Maybe is it’s just the combination of all these elements, and some, which makes us swoon. The following styled shoot photographed by Roohi Photography and designed by Belle Tulle Events, is a wonderful example of how beautiful a beach wedding can be. Event planners, Belle Tulle Events, were so inspired by the color mint that they knew that it had to be incorporated in their styling. And they knew that there was no better place to feature it than on a sandy beach in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Comments from Belle Tulle Events: We wanted this shoot to be many things, but mostly colorful, glamorous, natural, and involve some antique elements… whew, that’s a lot to roll into one style shoot, but here goes …
The Colorful: well, the Mint, of course, and we love how it pops with Magenta napkins, the bride’s pink pout, and the stunning hot pink roses in the bouquets and centerpieces. An ethereal sea nymph Maid of Honor gown ties it all together. Mint & Magenta are echoed in the cake, sparkling wine, invitations, menus, and tableware.
The Glamorous: Let’s face it, we see a lot of natural, simple, beachy ceremonies on the sand, but not many glam tablescapes… to remedy this, we added crystal champagne coupes, scalloped gold chargers, extra-long table linens, and a beautiful billowy Bridal Gown.
The Natural: Though we love glam, glitz, and glitter, we don’t want to knock the natural beauty of the Florida coast. Our Bride and Maid of Honor soaked their toes in the sea and sand, and were surrounded by natural shells, starfish, sea glass, rattan candle holders, and a woven card basket with escort cards hanging from a gilded container of wooden branches. Natural burlap table runners dressed the dinner and card tables.
The Antique: The dinner seats were century old wooden chairs, the crystal coupes are antiques, and the darling standard poodle that strolled by was 11… and very spry! We loved having Ivy the tres chic French Poodle join in the shoot; she was a joy to work with.
