Angie & Matt make such an adorable pair. These high school sweethearts engagement shoot, photographed by Kristeen Marie Photography, has a whole lot of country style with a side order of vintage. I especially love how they included their sweet pup in the shoot – just darling.
How They Met
“Matt and I met in high school! We’re high school sweethearts. Although we were in high school when we met, we actually met outside of high school. One of my girlfriends was friends with him and his cousin and she went over to visit him and his cousin after a cheerleading game and I tagged along! I met him then for the first time and I was head of heels over him from that day on!”
How He Proposed
“Matt and I built a house last year (Our first house together) And we were scheduled to close on the house on July 27. The day before, we went to the house and we were looking through the house just amazed that it was finally going to be ours in one day. We were laying upstairs in the loft of the house just talking about how excited we were with everything and happy with where life was taking us, and he popped the question right there in the loft of our future house a day before we closed!”
“I absolutely cannot wait for our wedding! We have so many unique things we are bringing to the table! First off we are having a hot apple cider help yourself table for the wedding and were tying a sailors knot instead of sand or candles! Also, me and all my bridesmaids are wearing cowgirl boots! Then the reception itself is in a barn with so many personal touches! My maid of honor and I have made several signs to use, and we have made all of our centerpieces! Also, the bar set up is going to be neat with some different ideas! A wheelbarrow filled with ice and beer to grab, and a horse trough with pre-made drinks in mason jars! Several things that were thought out and unique to us and no other wedding!”
