This spectacular wedding captured by 3 Chicks That Click Photography, took place at the stunning Seaview Resort & Spa in Galloway, NJ. The weather was extremely warm but that didn’t ruin Laura and Anthony’s big day. They had things covered providing hand-shaped fans and programs, ice lemon water, and flip flops for comfort.
I just love Laura’s cascading wedding bouquet and its mixture of beautiful roses, so pretty.
How Did You Meet? Anthony and I actually met in the 6th grade; he sat behind me in our Foreign Language class. We dated a few years in high school, broke up for college, and got back together a year after college.
How Did You Choose Your Colors? Periwinkle is my favorite color and my favorite flower is the Circus Rose (yellow rose with a deep orange top). We decided to use orange and periwinkle throughout the wedding.
How Did You Choose Your Venue? We wanted a place that was near an airport, had a hotel so no one had to drive after the wedding, a place that could host an after-party once the wedding was over, and a venue that had activities in the area for our family and friends that were flying in from all over the US- that way they could make a mini-vacation out of it. The golf course, pools, antique charm of every aspect of the grounds…it was all AMAZING. We looked at this place and booked it.
How Did You Find Your Dress? Anthony and I were looking at dresses online together. I wanted a simple but elegant dress that had pockets, yes, pockets. Even my bridesmaids had pockets in their dresses. He picked out one by Priscilla of Boston, and without him knowing it, I bought it. I didn’t tell him that I bought a dress right away so that he wouldn’t put two and two together. He didn’t know I bought that dress until he saw me at the wedding.
Aspects of Your Wedding Planning: Anthony and I are both very organized. Certain aspects of the wedding mattered more to him than me. Anything he cared more about, he had the upper-hand on, and vice-versa. Flowers were important to me, so I had final say. He cared more about the gelato bar during dessert, so he picked the flavors and toppings. I designed the cake, but he picked the cake topper (a bride and groom playing football). It was all about compromising. There were no fights, there was not a single tear shed. It really was a lot of fun to plan.
We LOVED Seaview and all of our vendors. I would recommend them all. Our photography, done by 3 Chicks that Click, took AMAZING photos. Eric DeSotto at Big Apple Entertainment was the BEST DJ anyone could ever ask for, Jennifer Trass at Seaview really worked so hard to make our wedding special. Anthony and I are very organized and added a lot of small details to our wedding, and she made sure they happened. The only sad part about the whole day is that it moves by so fast. It is like you blink and the whole day is over.
