Today I have a lovely classic purple wedding that truly sparkles. Stephanie & Jason’s wedding captured by Ten•2•Ten Photography, was truly an elegant event. Take a look at the photo’s below and be sure to read the brides comments at the end of the post.
From The Bride, Stephanie:
How did you meet?
Jason and I grew up minutes away from each other, attending neighbouring highschools without every crossing paths. We met working at a retail store almost 8 years ago. I had worked there for a number of years before Jay was hired and had simply grown tired of the job, vowing to quit a number of times. Some may call it fate, but for whatever reason I stuck it out, and I am so grateful that I did 🙂
How did he propose?
You can read about our proposal on our wedding website in Jay’s own words: @weddingwire.com/dasilvatucker
What was your Wedding Planning, Inspiration and Style?
We didn’t really have a particular theme or style we planned our wedding around. We wanted everything to appear simple and classy and really did our best to plan everything ahead so that our day ran as smoothly as possible. Family was probably the most important part of our wedding. Jay and I both come from close families and wanted to include them as much as possible in special day. Our wedding party mostly consisted of immediate family and we had an extensive list of “must-have” pictures with countless members of our families. We were particularly dissappointed that we would be missing the birthdays of both our flowergirls (my cousin and Jay’s neice) because we would be on our honeymoon so we decided to surprise them with a birthday cake at our reception to show them that they are both very special to us.
What was your Favorite memory of the day?
My favourite memory of the day was probably our first dance. We chose Michael Buble’s “Hold On,” it’s a song that is very special to both of us. The whole day had been stressful up until the reception. Not because anything had gone wrong or because we were rushed, but because of the looming threat of heavy rain the entire day. When we shared our first dance, it was the first time I think we were really able to relax and completely take in the moment. Even though there we were in a room full of people, with all eyes on us, it truly felt like we were the only two in the room.
